Yann Aubertot aka Monoblok is a born experimentalist and a master in the science of obscure audio plugins with a solid classical music background. Founder and curator of Rodoid netlabel, organizer of Paysages Électroniques festival, Monoblok has been playing around with electronic textures for the most part of his life and today he produces hybrid minimal techno with an experimental edge.

In 2009 he joined forces with DJ and party promoter PussySelektor/PSLKTR, and since then they have been busy producing and defining their own personal style by synthesizing their respective ideas and influences and putting them in synergy.

Their two first shots, “Straighthead EP”, released on French imprint Notorious Elektro, and “Make/Shift EP”, on Berlin based label Lebensfreude Records, proved highly effective on the dancefloor and earned big support from various djs such as Chloé, Terence Fixmer, Marc Antona, Phil Kieran, Mihalis Safras, Marc Ashken,

Xpansul, Matt Walsh, Terence Fixmer, Savas Pascalidis, Andreas Henneberg, Brodinski, Electric Indigo, Savas Pascalidis, Compuphonic or David Keno to name a few.

They also released a remix of Paul Loraine’s track “Your Ghost” on London much hyped label Electric Sheep, and appeared in the June covermount CD of french dance mag Trax to announce their 3rd EP – “Wonkytonk EP” – on Remain & Siskid’s own Meant Records, complete with additional remixes by Remain & Ivan Smagghe. (a rare solo effort)
